What is this?
Bibliofile is a tool for keeping track of books: those you've read, those you'd like to read, and
those you're reading. You can use it to:
- Put a "What I'm Reading" list on your web page or blog. (All the cool kids are doing it!)
- Compile statistics on what and how much you're reading. (What was the book you rated lowest last year?
Something by William Shatner would be our guess.)
- Consult your "books to read" list when you're at the library or book store. (Assuming they
have wireless Internet or you're willing to drag a really long network cable behind you.)
- Share your reading wishlist with your well-heeled friends and loved ones.
How much is it?
Use of Bibliofile is free. Gratis. Without charge. Complimentary. On the house. Come on and
try it out!
How do I sign up?
You can sign up

Free? Really? What's the catch?
There's no catch! Really! The service is something we and some of our reader friends have wished
existed for a long time, so we thought we'd do something about it.
If you're really keen to help us pay our hosting fees, you can do so in one of two ways:
- When a book is listed in Bibliofile, you'll see a small icon that links to that book's page on
Amazon. If you follow that link and purchase the book, we'll get a small referral fee. You get a book
and a warm, glowy feeling. We get a buck or two. Win/win, baby!
- If you're really eager to just throw some money our way, far be it from us to refuse. You can use Amazon's
honor system to do so by using the button below:
Aww, that stinks. I've already got an Amazon referrer ID. Can't I use that?
We have heard your cries! Just for you -- yes you, the person who's reading
this
right now -- we've created a "Premium Account" option. If you
want to use your own Amazon ID, you can do so for $1/month, payable in
advance. (What a bargain!) Combined with the RSS feeds, this can give you a
super-powerful way to manage reading lists on your site while still taking
home the referral fees yourself. If you're interested in this option,
and we'll make all the necessary arrangements for you.
